What it is

A design studio for digital workers.

A digital worker is software that runs one of your business processes end to end. AI agents do the routine work, your people approve the decisions that need a person, and it connects to your systems. Nx·Studio designs them with you.

The problem it solves

Automation built around your business, and owned by you.

There is no hosted AI platform to rent and no need to bend your process to fit one. You describe how you work. You receive software designed for it, tested before go-live, and handed over as code you keep.

Who it's for

The people who own the process.

Operations leaders who want results, architects who need to trust the design, and the AI and platform teams who will run it. All of them work in the same studio.

the studio loop

From business description to software you own, in six moves.

01

Describe your business

Fill in a 10-step guided form, paste your website and notes, or write one paragraph. Or start from one of eight starter packs. You can also upload documents.

02

Generate digital workers

An AI business analyst proposes up to five designs, from cautious to ambitious. It scores each one, checks and fixes its own work, and recommends the best fit.

03

Shape it

Refine the chosen design on a drag-and-drop canvas. Check it in a lane-by-lane view of who does what. Add the data and knowledge it will use.

04

Rehearse it

Test it on realistic synthetic data generated for this worker. Run one step at a time, run it end to end with real approval pauses, or run many workers together.

05

Export the software

An export screen lists everything you'll own. You then download a complete software project to host yourself, with approvals, its integrations, and optional monitoring and deployment files.

06

Own & run it

Run it on your own cloud or servers, with the AI models you choose. It needs no Nexgile software to run, no license check and no per-decision fees.

The Foundation

The Nexgile difference.

Today's leading AI models are increasingly similar. What sets Nx·Studio's digital workers apart is the Foundation they are built on. Its four mechanisms turn claims you would otherwise have to trust into things you can read, replay or check yourself.

Rehearsal before reality

Tested on realistic data before it goes live.

Each worker can get realistic test data generated for its own processes, so it can rehearse real-looking work before it touches a live system. You can test one step at a time or end to end, and watch test runs pause for approval and resume. You can run many workers together and speed up time if you wish, with stand-in behaviour by default or the real workers if you choose. You can also score test runs for accuracy, cost and safety. No production data is needed to design or evaluate a worker.

Synthetic data, generated per workerApprovals includedScored runs
Rules you can rely on

The rules you state are built in.

Write down the rules your business must follow. The AI analyst turns them into fixed checks inside the worker wherever it can, and flags any it could not build in. A fixed check gives the same answer for the same inputs every time and never calls an AI model. For routine decisions that nobody wrote down, the Cognitive Engine learns from confirmed outcomes. It is a separate product and is not built into Nx·Studio workers.

Blueprints you can read

See what it will do before it does it.

Every digital worker is a blueprint, not a tangle of prompts. It shows the steps, who approves what, where cases escalate and which systems it touches. Every save is a version you can compare, merge or restore. Business teams read the same worker as a swimlane diagram, with lanes for teams, people and systems. The export screen then lists exactly what was built. Like everything the platform generates, it is yours.

Proof in every export

Verify exactly what you received.

Before you download, the export screen itemises exactly what you are receiving. The package carries a signed bill of materials: a tamper-evident list of every part of the software and its AI components. Your engineers can check it offline with the included verifier. The package also includes a security threat model and an EU AI Act documentation cross-reference. The worker is built to run without us, with no Nexgile runtime, no license check, no metering and no calls home.

What ships with every export
Human oversight

AI judgment with people in charge. Approval steps pause the worker until a person decides, using the reviewer inbox built into the worker. Delivery to Slack, Microsoft Teams or email is optional. You can also set confidence thresholds. By default, a low score raises a warning, and you can choose to route those cases to a person instead.

Generated, not configured

Workers built for your reality.

There is no fixed catalog of workers to outgrow. An AI business analyst studies how your organization works: your teams, systems, pain points, goals and rules. Then it designs digital workers for it. Each one has clear roles, steps, approval points and an AI-estimated return.

Describe it your way

A 10-step guided form, a quick paste of your website and notes, or a single paragraph. Or start from one of eight starter packs, from finance month-end close to IT incident triage.

Up to five designs to choose from

Conservative, balanced, ambitious, compliance-first and cost-optimal. The AI scores each one on fit, simplicity, safety, cost, compliance and scalability, and estimates its savings.

It checks its own work

The analyst reviews and fixes its designs before you see them. On request, it adds more detail to each step of the design you pick.

Your rules, built in

State your business rules. The analyst turns them into fixed checks wherever it can, so they need no AI call. It flags any rule it couldn't build in.

Visual design

Design it like a diagram.

A drag-and-drop canvas turns your automation into something anyone can see and shape. A lane-by-lane view (swimlanes) shows the same worker the way the business sees it: by team, person and system.

Drag-and-drop canvas

Forty kinds of steps, including agents, rules, approvals, integrations and loops, and sixteen ready-made workflow patterns. No coding is required.

A view for the business

A lane-by-lane view of who or what does each step: by person, team and system.

Instant validation

The Studio checks the design as you build, so mistakes and policy gaps show up at once. A readiness score shows how ready it is.

Full version history

Every save is a version. Compare versions, merge changes, or restore a saved checkpoint.

Rehearsal

Rehearsed before it touches anything real.

Each worker can get realistic test data generated to fit its own processes. You can watch it do realistic work long before it meets a live system. No production data has to be shared to evaluate it.

Realistic data for each worker

Synthetic (computer-generated) records that match the worker's own data model. You can also upload your own sample data, up to 200,000 rows.

Test step by step

Run one step, rerun from a chosen point, and inspect every input, output and log.

Approvals rehearse too

Test runs pause for sign-off and resume when approved. You approve or reject the worker's actions, and can undo the reversible ones.

Many workers at once

A simulation lab runs many workers together, and can speed up time. It uses stand-in behaviour by default, or the real workers. It flags clashes over a record, work passed in the wrong format, and chains of escalations.

Test runs are scored for accuracy, speed, robustness and coverage. The scores become the evaluation report procurement will ask for. A sample from a simulated run is available on request.

Owned, not rented

Software you own.

Nx·Studio hands over a complete software project that you host yourself, not just diagrams. Every exported worker can draw on a catalog of thousands of integrations, ask your people for approval, and run on your cloud with the AI models you choose.

Thousands of integrations

A catalog of thousands of integrations, including SAP, Oracle EBS, Workday, Salesforce and ServiceNow. Your engineers complete each connection with that system’s details. Workers also connect to any system with a standard web API or an MCP server (the open standard AI tools use to connect to other systems).

Approvals built in

A reviewer inbox is generated into the worker. Slack, Microsoft Teams and email delivery are optional. You choose who reviews each approval step, such as a role or a team.

Your cloud, your model

Deploy to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake or Kubernetes. Use any of eleven AI model providers, including fully local models.

Monitoring & runbooks

Optional dashboards, alerts, warnings when the worker's behaviour shifts over time, and auto-generated operating guides (runbooks). You switch them on at export.

cost, before you deploy

Estimate what it will cost before it runs.

“The cheapest AI call is the one that never happens.”

Estimated before you build

Each design option comes with an AI estimate of its monthly running cost and the hours it saves. The plan also estimates payback time. You compare options on economics, not just features.

Rules that need no AI call

The business rules you state become fixed checks wherever possible. The Studio shows how much of each worker gives the same answer every time, and suggests how to raise it.

No meter after export

The worker runs on your own systems, with your own AI accounts. There is no Nexgile meter, so higher usage never increases what you pay Nexgile.

versioned blueprints

Business logic you can read before it runs.

Every digital worker is a blueprint. It shows the worker's agents and roles, integrations, approval points, routing and rules as a design you can see. Nothing is hidden in AI instructions or locked inside a vendor's platform.

Every save is a new version. Your engineers compare and merge versions like code. The business reads it as a lane-by-lane view of who does what. The export screen lists exactly what was built. The result is an asset you own, not a setting in someone else's platform that you rent.

Illustration only: the change between two versions of a worker, in plain words. In the Studio, the version history shows the same change on the worker's design.

use what you have

Don't start from zero.

Start from what you already have: your process logs, your existing automation, and the software bots you already run.

Start from your process logs

Optional module: upload event logs from tools like Celonis or UiPath. You get a ranked list of automation opportunities.

Rebuild what you already have

Optional module: point it at existing Python agent code or standard process diagrams (BPMN). You get an editable digital worker back.

Work with your bots

Mark the steps your existing software bots (RPA) handle, in tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Power Automate. The worker writes a hand-off request your team routes to them.

Process-log discovery and code / BPMN import are optional modules. You choose what you share to shape a design.

owned improvement

Workers that improve — for you, not for us.

Improvements accumulate in the designs and code you keep. Like everything else, each change is versioned, reviewable and reversible.

Corrections become an asset

Your reviewers' corrections can be turned into AI training data you own. It is built from the worker's own approval inbox.

Version control for behavior

Compare and merge changes to a worker, restore a saved checkpoint, and see which version each test score came from.

Upgrades that keep your edits

Optional: an export can include an upgrade starting point. A later regeneration can then be merged with your team's code changes, with any conflicts flagged.

Suggested improvements

The Studio studies test runs and proposes changes, such as a cheaper AI model, caching, or steps run in parallel. You approve or reject each one.

Proof in every export

“Is it really ours?” Check for yourself.

Before you download, the export screen lists exactly what you are receiving, with a plain PDF summary for stakeholders. The package includes a signed bill of materials: a tamper-evident list of every part of the software and its AI components. Your engineers can verify it offline, on their own hardware. The package also includes a security threat model and a cross-reference to the EU AI Act's documentation requirements (not a conformity assessment).

The exported worker is built to run without Nexgile. It needs no Nexgile software, and it has no license check, no metering and no calls home. Nothing stops working if you stop paying Nexgile.

Can Nexgile still get in?

No. The exported worker carries no Nexgile keys, no license check and no calls home. You hold the keys and the code, and it runs on your infrastructure.

Can I export it, or am I stranded?

You receive the complete software project: code, tests, deployment files and optional runbooks. It starts with a single command, or deploys to your cloud. No proprietary platform is required.

What if Nexgile goes away?

It keeps running. Exported workers need nothing from Nexgile and run on your own infrastructure indefinitely. You can also host the Studio yourself, even fully offline (air-gapped), under a Nexgile license key.

To check “production-grade” for yourself, request a sanitized export file tree, a runbook page and a test report through the Trust Center.
